Stenter Machine

Low Pressure Die Casting

  • InspirOn has acquired state of the art Low Pressure Die Casting machine from Kurtz-Germany as a strategy to provide complete Die Casting solutions under one roof.
  • Some of the salient features of the machine are
    • Space between tie bars : 1400 mm x 1000 mm
    • Melt carrying capacity : 350 kg
    • Options of one or two central positions for metal entry to the mould.
    • Cavity filling through 20 steps pressure control which leads to defect free casting
  • Advantages of LPDC Technology
    • Controllable filling of the mould (filling against gravity force) - no turbulence, less oxide films, better mechanical properties
    • Metal is kept within a closed vessel (metal bath surface not disturbed or ruptured) - cleaner material
    • Operation under a protected atmosphere - low hydrogen content
    • Controlled solidification with pressurized furnace (higher yield than with conventional risers) -higher yield
    • Completely automated process - less human errors
